Advocacy requires all of us to work together. That’s why HALO is proud to chair the Conventional Weapons Destruction Network (CWDN), a coalition of organizations seeking to increase support for conventional weapons destruction programs through congressional advocacy.
CWDN members include: Mines Advisory Group (MAG), Legacies of War, PeaceTrees Vietnam, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Humanity & Inclusion, Tetratech, Marshall Legacy Institute, and James Madison University’s CISR Center.
HALO is also a member of the Stimson Center’s War Legacies Working Group. The working group forms partnerships throughout the United States and Southeast Asia to address issues related to unexploded ordnance, Agent Orange, and landmine clearance in the broad theater of the Vietnam War.
