We at The HALO Trust are delighted to announce our new membership with the BritishAmerican Business Network. The HALO Trust is an British-American charity dedicated to saving lives by removing landmines, improvised explosive devices, and destroying other weapons. We are the world’s largest humanitarian landmine clearance organization. Founded in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1988, HALO now operates in 30 countries and territories. We employ nearly 13,000 staff worldwide, 98% of whom are locally recruited.
HALO’s mission is to protect lives and restore the livelihoods of those affected by conflict. We continue to clear landmines and explosives left behind by war, but HALO's impact goes beyond the minefield.
