In 1997, Princess Diana walked through a dangerous minefield in Huambo, Angola, drawing global attention to the urgent need to clear landmines and create safe spaces for communities. Today, that same site is unrecognizable—a thriving town with a school named in her honor, where children learn and play without fear.
