HALO attends the 8th semi-annual Ukraine Action Summit

In April, HALO joined over 700 advocates, experts, and community leaders from all 50 states
and Puerto Rico in Washington, D.C. for the 8th Ukraine Action Summit to demonstrate our shared commitment to Ukraine’s resilience and recovery.

Hosted by the American Coalition for Ukraine, the summit included three days of congressional
advocacy training and meetings, culminating in one of the largest gatherings of Ukraine’s
supporters in the United States.

Between April 21-22, HALO met with 21 congressional offices to highlight the scale of landmines and other explosives threatening Ukrainian communities, and to discuss the critical need for humanitarian demining to clear Ukraine’s path to recovery.

HALO is committed to working alongside policymakers and partners to ensure Ukrainians can rebuild and thrive, free from the threat of explosive remnants of war.
