General Partner Information
You will need to visit an offsite security screening location (or TWO) if you are bringing any items that may be deemed suspicious by Capitol security units. Examples of items that may require offsite security screenings include:
- inert ordnance
- ordnance models or replicas
- demining equipment
- personal protective equipment
- or similar
If your organization is just planning to bring pamphlets, banners, posters, small "swag" items, journals, or other printed materials, you will NOT need to visit offsite security and may enter the Rayburn House Office Building through the main entrance on Independence Avenue.
All items must be able to fit the Rayburn main entrance scan bed. If you plan to bring items larger than will fit through the scan bed, please notify Kristen Stevens kristen.stevens@halousa.org as this will require additional security requirements.
You can pick up your parking pass from the HALO USA office at 1730 Rhode Island Ave NW # 206, Washington, DC 20036. Please contact Maevyn Davis-Rackerby at maevyn.davisrackerby@halousa.org.
Please arrive at 2:45PM to setup for the event. If you have requested a table, one will be set up for you. We appreciate your flexibility in adapting to the space.
If you are visiting offsite security, we will work to ensure your arrival on time for setup. Details regarding the timing of security screenings and loading dock access will be provided at a later date.
Please contact Maevyn Davis-Rackerby, Congressional Affairs Associate, at maevyn.davisrackerby@halousa.org with any questions and concerns. Your day-of contact will be Maevyn at (206) 432-6471.

All organizations bringing sensitive items will need to visit the offsite security location on Shepherd Parkway. Please note that this location is about a 20 minute drive from Rayburn, without heavy traffic. Please see map and instructions for the offsite delivery center HERE.
Some organizations, as determined by the House Sergeant at Arms Office, will be required to also visit an additional security screening point (the bomb squad), located at Delaware Ave. and D ST SW. Please see map and instructions of the secondary screening location and location of the Rayburn loading dock HERE. We will be in touch next week to confirm which organizations must visit both screening locations before arriving at the Rayburn loading dock.
Partners that have visited offsite security locations will be required to enter at the Rayburn loading dock.
1). Report to USCP Off-site for initial screening and plan to arrive between 1pm-1:30pm. The address is 4700 Shepherd Parkway, SW HERE.
2) Organizations requiring secondary screening will then report to Delaware Avenue & D St. SW. for secondary screening, HERE.
3) Vehicles will then proceed directly to the Rayburn HOB loading dock – enter through any House-side security barricade; the closest to the loading doc is at D St. SW. and Washington Ave. SW., HERE. You must come directly from the offsite security locations, or you may be denied entry.
4). After unloading, please park your vehicle.
When arriving at the loading doc, you will be met by an escort from one of the Co-Chairs’ offices. Details will be provided here once confirmed.
